Snow Peak USA and Snow Peak Camp Operations, LLC (“We” or “Snow Peak”) respect your privacy and want you to feel comfortable knowing your information is protected when you electronically interact with us. This Privacy Policy (this “Policy”) describes the type of information we may collect from you or that you may provide when you:
- Visit www.snowpeak.com (the “SP Website”);
- Visit www.snowpeakcampfield.com (the “Campfield Website”);
- Make a product purchase on the SP Website;
- Make an experience reservation on the Campfield Website;
- sign-up to become a member of our loyalty program;
- Download, install, register with, access, visit, or otherwise use the Snow Peak Mobile Application (the “App”);
- Email us;
- Text us; and/or
- Interact with our advertising and applications on third-party websites and services, if those applications or advertising includes links to this Policy.
The SP Website and the Campfield Website are referred to collectively as our “Website.” Our Website and the App are referred to collectively as our “Services.”
This Policy does not apply to information collected by:
- Us offline, including on any other website operated by Snow Peak or any third party (including our affiliates and subsidiaries); or
- Any third party (including our affiliates and subsidiaries), including through any application or content (including advertising) that may link to or be accessible from or through our Services.
YOUR CONSENT TO THIS POLICY
Please read this Policy carefully to understand our policies and practices regarding your information and how we will treat it. If you do not agree with our policies and practices, your choice is not to use our Services or to otherwise interact with us. By accessing or using our Services or otherwise electronically interacting with us, you agree to this Policy, which may change from time to time (see Changes to Our Privacy Policy). Your continued use of our Services or your continued electronic interactions with us after we make changes is deemed to be acceptance of those changes, so please check here for periodical Policy updates.
CHILDREN UNDER THE AGE OF 16
Our Services are not intended for children under 16 years of age. Children under the age of 16 are not permitted to provide any information to us, whether through our Services or through any other means of electronic communication. If you are under the age of 16, do not use, register, or make a purchase through our Services. Do not provide any information about yourself to us, including your name, address, telephone number, email address, or any screen name or user name you may use. If we learn we have collected or received Personal Information from a child under 16, we will delete that information. RESERVATION ELIGIBILITY FOR CAMPFIELD EXPERIENCES – AGE 18+
To make a reservation on the Campfield Website, you must be at least 18 years of age. Children under the age of 18 are not permitted to make a reservation for experiences, whether through the Campfield Website or through any other means of electronic communication. If you are under the age of 18, do not register with or make a reservation through the Campfield Website. Do not provide any information about yourself to us, including your name, address, telephone number, email address, or any screen name or user name you may use. If you believe a reservation might have been made by a child under 18, please email us at longbeach@snowpeakcampfield.com or call our Customer Service at 833-662-8624.
INFORMATION WE COLLECT FROM YOU & HOW WE COLLECT IT
We collect two basic types of information:
- Information that identifies (whether directly or indirectly) a particular individual, such as your name, postal address, email address, and telephone number (“Personal Information”); and
- Information that does not directly or indirectly identify, and cannot reasonably be used to identify, an individual (“Anonymous Information”). When Anonymous Information is directly or indirectly associated with Personal Information, the resulting information is also treated as Personal Information.
We may use Personal Information and Anonymous Information to create a third type of information: information about groups or categories of individuals, which does not identify and cannot reasonably be used to identify an individual (“Aggregate Information”).
We collect this information from and about you when you:
- Visit our Services;
- Register to use our Services;
- Place an order;
- Make an experience reservation with us on the Campfield Website;
- Contact us;
- Post comments, questions, reviews, or upload content such as pictures, videos, and blog entries (collectively, “User Contributions”);
- Sign up for our email newsletter;
- Sign-up to become a member of our loyalty program;
- Report a problem with our Services; and/or
- Enter a contest or sweepstakes.
We also may collect information indirectly from you, such as, for example, when you are the recipient of a gift purchased by another on our Services.
Your User Contributions are posted on and transmitted to others at your own risk. Please be aware that no security measures are perfect or impenetrable. Additionally, we cannot control the actions of other users of our Services. Therefore, we cannot and do not guarantee that your User Contributions will not be viewed by unauthorized persons.
AUTOMATIC & THIRD PARTY DATA COLLECTION
As you navigate through and interact with our Services, we may use automatic data collection technologies to collect certain information about your equipment, browsing actions, and patterns, including:
- Usage Data. When you interact with our Services, we may automatically collect certain details of your access to and use of our Services, including traffic data, location data, logs, and other communication data and the resources that you access and use on or through our Services.
- Device Information. We may collect information about your mobile device and internet connection, including your device’s unique device identifier, IP address, operating system, browser type and version, browser plug-ins, mobile network information, and the device’s telephone number.
- Stored Information and Files. Our Services may access metadata and other information associated with other files stored on your device. This may include, for example, photographs and other information from your device’s camera and photo library.
- Location Information. Our App may collect real-time information about the location of your device.
The information we collect automatically may include Personal Information, or we may maintain it or associate it with Personal Information we collect in other ways. It helps us improve our Services and to deliver a better and more personalized services, including by enabling us to:
- estimate our audience size and usage patterns;
- store information about your preferences, allowing us to customize our Services according to your individual interests;
- speed up your searches; and
- recognize you when you return to our Services.
The technologies and third-party tools we may use for this automatic data collection includes:
- Cookies. A cookie is a small file placed on the hard drive of your computer. You may refuse to accept browser cookies by activating the appropriate setting on your browser. However, if you select this setting you may be unable to access certain parts of our Website. Unless you have adjusted your browser setting so that it will refuse cookies, our system will issue cookies when you direct your browser to our Website. We use cookies to, for example, enable our systems to recognize your browser to provide a unique personalize shopping experience and to store items in your Shopping Cart between visits.
- Click Tracking. Click tracking is an analytical feature that measures and reports where Users click or tap on our Website. Every time you click on our Website, we record the event and log your user session for future analysis. We use this information only to improve our services. Click tracking only collects the IP address assigned to you on the date when you visit our Website, rather than your name or other identifying information.
- Google Analytics. We use a tool called “Google Analytics” to collect information about use of our Website. Google Analytics collects information such as how often users visit our Website, what pages they visit when they do so, and what other sites they used prior to coming to ours. We use the information we get from Google Analytics only to improve our services. Google Analytics only collects the IP address assigned to you on the date you visit our Website, rather than your name or other identifying information. Although Google Analytics plants a permanent cookie on your web browser to identify you as a unique user the next time you visit our Website, the cookie cannot be used by anyone but Google. Google’s ability to use and share information collected by Google Analytics about your visits is restricted by the Google Analytics Terms of Use and the Google Privacy Policy. You can prevent Google Analytics from recognizing you on return visits by disabling cookies on your browser.
- Shopify Audiences. We use “Shopify Audiences” to help us show advertisements on other websites with our advertising partners to buyers who made purchases with other Shopify merchants and who may also be interested in what we have to offer. We also share information about your use of the SP Website, your purchases, and the email address associated with your purchases with Shopify Audiences, through which other Shopify merchants may make offers you may be interested in. When you use our Services, certain third parties may use automatic information collection technologies to collect information about you or your device. These third parties may include:
- Advertisers, ad networks, and ad servers.
- Hosting service providers.
- Credit card and gift card processors.
- Analytics companies.
- Your mobile device manufacturer.
- Your mobile service provider.
- Email marketing service providers.
- Event management and ticketing platforms.
- Scheduling and appointment booking service providers.
These third parties may use tracking technologies to collect information about you when you use our Services. The information they collect may be associated with your Personal Information or they may collect information, including Personal Information, about your online activities over time and across different websites, apps, and other online services websites. We do not control these third parties’ tracking technologies or how they may be used. HOW WE USE YOUR PERSONAL INFORMATION
We use information that we collect about you or that you provide to us, including any Personal Information:

- To provide you with information, products, experiences, or services that you request from us.
- To improve the effectiveness of our products, services, and marketing communications.
- To manage and facilitate event registrations, ticketing, and scheduling.
- To carry out our obligations and enforce our rights arising from any contracts entered into between you and us, including for billing and collection.
- To notify you about changes to our Services (including App updates) or any products or services we offer or provide though it.
- To allow you to participate in interactive features on our Services.
- To allow you to participate in our loyalty program.

- To administer a contest entry.
- In any other way we may describe when you provide the information.
- To fulfill any other purpose for which you provide it.

We may also use your information to contact you about our own goods and services that may be of interest to you. DISCLOSURE OF YOUR INFORMATION
We may disclose aggregated information about our Services users, and information that does not identify any individual, without restriction.
We may disclose Personal Information that we collect, or you provide as described in this Policy:
- To our subsidiaries and affiliates.
- To contractors, service providers, and other third parties we use to support our business.
- To a buyer or other successor in the event of a merger, divestiture, restructuring, reorganization, dissolution, or other sale or transfer of some or all of Snow Peak’s assets, whether as a going concern or as part of bankruptcy, liquidation, or similar proceeding, in which Personal Information held by Snow Peak about our Services users is among the assets transferred.
- To fulfill the purpose for which you provide it.
- For any other purpose disclosed by us when you provide the information.
- With your consent.
We may also disclose your Personal Information:
- To our subsidiaries and affiliates.
- To contractors, service providers, and other third parties we use to support our business and who are bound by contractual obligations to keep personal information confidential and use it only for the purposes for which we disclose it to them.

- To enforce or apply our SP Website Terms of Service, our Campfield Website Terms of Service, our Loyalty Program Terms and Conditions, and/or other agreements, including for billing and collection purposes.
- If we believe disclosure is necessary or appropriate to protect the rights, property, or safety of Snow Peak, our customers, or others. This includes exchanging information with other companies and organizations for the purposes of fraud protection and credit risk reduction.
- To a buyer or other successor in the event of a merger, divestiture, restructuring, reorganization, dissolution, or other sale or transfer of some or all of Snow Peak’s assets, whether as a going concern or as part of bankruptcy, liquidation, or similar proceeding, in which personal information held by Snow Peak about our Services’ users is among the assets transferred.
CHOICES ABOUT HOW WE USE AND DISCLOSE YOU INFORMATION
We strive to provide you with choices regarding the Personal Information you provide to us. We have created mechanisms to provide you with the following control over your information:
- Tracking Technologies and Advertising. You can set your browser to refuse all or some browser cookies, or to alert you when cookies are being sent. If you disable or refuse cookies, please note that some parts of this site may then be inaccessible or not function properly. Please note that the only way to opt out of cookies in the app is to uninstall our App and refrain from using it.
- Promotional Offers from the Snow Peak. If you do not wish to have your email address/contact information used us to promote our own, you can opt-out by logging into our Services and adjusting your user preferences in your account profile, by sending us an email stating your request to info@snowpeak.com, or by calling our Customer Service at (503)-461-0781. If we have sent you a promotional email, you may click unsubscribe in the email or send us a return email asking to be omitted from future email distributions. This opt-out does not apply to information provided to us as a result of a product purchase, warranty registration, product service experience or other transactions.
- Shopify Audiences. You have the choice to opt-out of sharing your personal information with Shopify Audiences, which includes information regarding the use of the SP Website, your purchases, and the email address associated with your purchase, by email us your request to opt-out at info@snowpeak.com, or by calling our Customer Service at (503)-461-0781. You may also contact us to get a list of where and who your information is being shared with.
- In-App Notifications. We may occasionally send you notifications through both in-App alerts and phone notifications to enhance your user experience and keep you information about important updates, promotions, or relevant context. You can adjust your notification preferences by accessing your settings within the App or through your phone settings.
- SMS Communications. By providing your mobile phone number and using our mobile application, you consent to receiving SMS messages from us. We may use SMS communications to provide you with important updates, account information, or promotional offers related to our services. You can opt-out of these communications at any time by following the instructions provided in the SMS messages or by adjusting your notification preferences in the App settings. Please note that standard messaging and data rates may apply depending on your mobile carrier plan.
We do not control third parties’ collection or use of your information to serve interest-based advertising. However these third parties may provide you with ways to choose not to have your information collected or used in this way. You can opt out of receiving targeted ads from members of the Network Advertising Initiative (“NAI”) on the NAI’s website.
ACCESSING AND CORRECTING YOUR INFORMATION
You can review and change your Personal Information by logging into our Services and visiting your account profile page.
You may also send us an email to info@snowpeak.com or call our Customer Service at (503)-461-0781 to request access to, correct or delete any Personal Information that you have provided to us. We cannot delete your Personal Information except by also deleting your user account. Please note that any rewards you may have accrued under your user account will be forfeited in accordance with our Loyalty Program Terms and Conditions at https://www.snowpeak.com/pages/loyalty-program-terms-conditions. Further, we will not be able to provide customer service regarding previous transactions under the account. We may not accommodate a request to change information if we believe the change would violate any law or legal requirement or cause the information to be incorrect.
If you delete your User Contributions from our Services, copies of your User Contributions may remain viewable in cached and archived pages, or might have been copied or stored by other Website users. Proper access and use of information provided on our Services, including User Contributions, is governed by our SP Website Terms of Service and our Campfield Website Terms of Service.
Residents of certain states, such as California, Nevada, Colorado, Connecticut, Virginia, and Utah may have additional Personal Information rights and choices. Please see Your State Privacy Rights for more information.
YOUR STATE PRIVACY RIGHTS

California, Colorado, Connecticut, Delaware, Florida, Indiana, Iowa, Montana, Oregon, Tennessee, Texas, Utah, and Virginia provide (now or in the future) their state residents with rights to:
- Confirm whether we process their Personal Information.
- Access and delete certain Personal Information.
- Correct inaccuracies in their Personal Information, taking into account the information’s nature and processing purpose (excluding Iowa and Utah).
- Data portability.
- Opt-out of Personal Information processing for:
- targeted advertising (excluding Iowa);
- sales; or
- profiling in furtherance of decisions that produce legal or similarly significant effects (excluding Iowa and Utah).
- Either limit (opt-out of) or require consent to process sensitive Personal Information.

Nevada provides its residents with a limited right to opt-out of certain Personal Information sales. However, please know we do not currently sell data triggering that statute's opt-out requirements.
DATA SECURITY
We have implemented measures designed to secure your Personal Information from accidental loss and from unauthorized access, use, alteration, and disclosure. All information you provide to us is stored on our secure servers behind firewalls. Any payment transactions will be encrypted using SSL technology.
The safety and security of your information also depends on you. Where you have a password for access to certain parts of our Services, you are responsible for keeping this password confidential. We ask you not to share your password with anyone. We urge you to be careful about giving out information in public areas of our Services like message boards. The information you share in public areas may be viewed by any user of our Services.
Unfortunately, the transmission of information via the internet is not completely secure. Although we do our best to protect your Personal Information, we cannot guarantee the security of your Personal Information transmitted to our Services. Any transmission of Personal Information is at your own risk. We are not responsible for circumvention of any privacy settings or security measures contained on our Services.
CHANGES TO OUR PRIVACY POLICY

If we make material changes to how we treat our users’ Personal Information, we will notify you by email to the primary email address specified in your account, through a notice on our Website home page, and/or through an in-App alert the first time you use the App after we make the change.
