Reflections from Death Valley

In the beginning of March, we set out for Death Valley with a (thankfully) short stop on the Las Vegas Strip. In a caravan of six jeeps, we drove into the desert, stopping at some dunes and eventually winding through Titus Canyon, until we emerged at the top of a vista overlooking Death Valley.

We set up camp just outside the national park in Panamint Springs, where we enjoyed two days of scenic desert views, Takibi Time and epic stargazing. Now, we’re staying home to prevent the spread of the COVID-19, but reflecting on these photos offers us hope and excitement for the many outdoor adventures to come.
