West Coast Sales Coordinator

General Summary

This position will assist in the sales operation and support needs for the wholesale business, reporting directly to the Sales Manager. This person will manage the sales of Snow Peak’s West Coast accounts, being the lead contact for availability reports, order updates, and to oversee sales & clinics of employees in the in-house West Coast Territory. We’re looking for someone who has an outgoing personality with experience in sales who can maintain great relationships with our dealers. This person will periodically travel nationally to West Coast accounts to educate store employees on new and existing products as well as attend national trade shows.

Customer Service

  • Assist with the entering of purchase orders and answering dealer questions about availability and product questions
  • Routinely contact active dealers reminding them of upcoming orders
  • Collecting and managing all aspects of Pre-Season orders which includes; reminding dealers to send orders, entering orders into worksheet, entering orders into ERP system, notifying dealers of upcoming shipments, making revisions as needed, ensuring they are shipped on time
  • Availability communication and order entry for West Coast accounts
  • Providing available sales tools such as imagery, reports, updated price sheets and catalogs
  • Provide necessary dealer documents for prospective new accounts

Sales Representation

  • Pursuing inactive accounts
  • Travel to in-house accounts performing product educations & sharing sales techniques to store staff
  • Monthly reporting of in-territory sales progress and key statistics
  • Attend trade shows including local, national, and even international shows when needed

Sales Admin Support

  • Assisting our independent sales reps as needed
  • Maintaining our CRM to reflect the most recent contact information for each account
  • Networking with industry professionals and promoting a professional persona that matches the Snow Peak business and brand

Sales Planning

  • Maintain Monthly Sales Forecast and Actual sales per account for West Coast Territory
  • Assist with Sales Forecasting by account and by item
  • Assist with Monthly Allocations

Operations

  • Assist with the maintenance of B2B platform
  • Assist with training of Sales Reps on B2B platform when needed
  • Maintain an efficient ordering system and procedure for managing ASAP and Pre-Season orders

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
  • Minimum of 1 year sales experience
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to multi-task, handle multiple/competing priorities and requests
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, results-oriented, team environment, including strong problem solving skills
  • Ability to form and maintain good relationships
  • Exceptional Excel skills
