Q: Where is Snow Peak based?

A: Snow Peak was founded in Niigata, Japan, and it remains the home of Snow Peak's global headquarters. You can learn more about our origins and heritage here. Snow Peak USA is based in Portland, Oregon. We have two US retail stores: our USA flagship in Portland, Oregon, and a location Soho, NYC.


Q: How durable are Snow Peak products?

Q: What is Takibi? What about Takibi Time?

Q: What is IGT?

A:  The Iron Grill Table (IGT) system is a modular, customizable outdoor kitchen designed to cook nearly anything outdoors. Iron Grill Table set-ups come in a range of sizes and styles. Visit our IGT page to learn more and begin building your own!

 

Q: What should I take while backpacking?

A: Snow Peak is well-known for its durable, ultralight titanium products and exceptionally compact stoves. Explore our Backpacking section to select cookware, tents, stoves and more. 

 

Q: How are apparel items sized?

A: Snow Peak apparel items are gender-neutral. Use the measurement descriptions below to determine fit or reach out to info@snowpeak.com for questions about specific apparel items. 

  • Shoulder measurements are taken across the back, the length between the shoulder seams. 
  • Chest measurements are taken under the arms at the fullest part of the chest.
  • Sleeve measurements are taken from the center of the back, down the arm and end at the wrist.
